EAT IN HK | HONG KONG

Before I continue my normal restaurant review, I want to write some simple words about my real food journey in my every day-time. Not sure I am lucky or not to have my new office location at one of the most local district of Hong Kong, where when you have a random walk there, you are every-second rounded by the very Hong Kong locals, with slippers and pajama (not much this extreme situation), VERY not patient and always loud. Wait!!! Looks quite negative description? half yes, half nope, actually it is Hong Kong, the real one, and I do appreciate those neighbors who are maybe not that rich or educated, but they are real persons, and they deliver good stuff by their heart! 

That's why those areas, in general, have the highest density of good local restaurants.

BIG BITE SMALL PLACE | TEXAS BURGER | HONG KONG

Texas Burger, is comparably a late-entry of Burger World in Hong Kong, a little similar to Burgerman, it tends to be normal and closer to the public consumers. Well, I was very impressed after my first visit there; to my understanding, their foods are more than 'normal'; Texas, is a worthy one to try!

BURGERMAN | HONG KONG

Burger fever keeps on going in Hong Kong within a list of Best Burger Names in town. It seems that an individual running burger shops has much wider fame in the public, compared to those higher-standard hotel restaurants or western restaurants. Burgerman, is another successful case which comes out from the hidden area in Kowloon.

Before going into details, I hereby give a pre-reading impression. It's comparable cheap with a normal standard of quality which is just matched to the price. Very welcome and nice shop for the local neighbors and expats as well.

A BURGER TAKEOVER | THE BUTCHERS CLUB | HONG KONG

A-Burger-Takeover is on-going since the 1st Round of Vinny Lauria's Meatball Burger. Don't know The Butchers Club? Are you kidding? It is one of the hottest burger shop in town!!! Located in Wanchai, the new rising dining block for Hongkongers and Expats, following Soho gourmet area. Their dry-aged Angus Beef cheeseburger, is absolutely must-try item, and actually except the yum-yum to be introduced, I would like to say something about the concept the lovely crew told me that day...

曾經在微博上看到一對很有意思的圖片，把漢堡視為垃圾食品，但把漢堡的每一層分解開擺盤成All-Day-Breakfast的樣子就變成均衡營養的一餐了；很傳神，讓人一笑之餘也有一瞬的反思，其實垃圾食品不等於漢堡，垃圾的應該是那些不正確加工處理出來的食材而已。於是，這晚多謝Cafe Deco公關的邀請來到銅鑼灣世貿4F盡頭尋找【紅色小盒】

老克勒餐廳【來佬餐館】

對於來佬餐廳自己也頗有幾分眼緣，每次路徑中環都會看到那塊大大的綠色招牌，但比起隔壁的鏞記，不容置疑的少了幾分氣勢，顯得有些灰灰暗暗。不知從何時開始流行All-You-Can-Eat模式的點心放題，無論是點心專營店還是高級粵式餐廳都在不同時間段推出點心放題的promotion，平面媒體也給足面子，雜誌大幅報導宣傳，餐廳也沒閒著，忙於FB上搞marketing，這日便來了loyal dining試試下午茶的放題。

體驗快餐文化【Lamma Grill】

新的學期漸漸步入軌道，瑣碎的事也一件接著一件，生活的重心又再次從美食博客轉移到學習中，與此同時搵工的壓力也慢慢壓下來，心裡盤算著，如果不能找到一份養活自己的好工作，哪來的薪水去支撐美食博客的運作？

閒話少說進入正題，還是繼續介紹國慶假期最後一日的南丫島之旅，由於是從索苦灣上島的關係，整個行程有些先苦後甜的滋味，輕鬆翻過山頭之後才進入聚集眾多田園風、鄉村風、海灘風等等不同風格的榕樹灣村；村口處的這家新開美式快餐店便是我名義上的第一站，名義指的是堂食，先前一路上都是邊行邊食的~
