Antwerp is not listed on my favorite list. It's a city similar to the normal modern European city with commercial buildings in specific areas, the long and crowded shopping street where all brands are grouped, and the old city hall area with those historic buildings, church or tower, normally that area would become a good place for a glass of wine at night.

One of my favorite places I have been in Europe and it even makes me fall in love with Belgium so deep. The typical medieval city on the north-west of Brussels and only takes you 1/1.5-hour train there. And you will find how famous it is just by the over-crowded train situation. The whole main city remains the old-time image with windmill on the corner, beside the city wall. Crossing the bridge and passing through the guided tower connected with the city wall, the stone road will lead you to the center square of the city and on the way, you will find beautiful middle-age houses with the sharp roofs one by one, the breath-taking image of little canals, stone bridges, greens along the canals, and the relaxing people seated in the cafes.

Very nice city, people, buildings and cultures in Brussels (Bruxelles). It is a French-speaking city with convenient public transpiration systems, plus the sightseeing places are compact in the old town area, which is reachable in walking distance, especially in a find weather, to walk around in the old cities and in those cute little lanes is the best way to explore Brussels.
