Once you step onto the Gulangyu Island, you will
find this interesting place full of interesting names, of course, you should
know a little about Chinese traditional historical culture or stories in
advance. Pan Xiao Lian Yoghourt, in fact, it’s nothing to do with Pan Xiao
Lian, or may be just a name of owner… but still this combination of three
Chinese words makes you think about some stories, seems to be linked.
It’s a yogurt shop, also sells the famous pineapple
cakes. The indoor design is interesting with a full painting-wall and a bar of
photo-pin wall in between. If I have time, I will observe all the photos one by
one for just enjoying those happy visitors come before. Do you believe
happiness can be transferred?
當你踏上鼓浪嶼島那一刻，你便會開始沉迷于挖掘各種千奇百怪的店名，當然首要條件是你要對中國歷史或是中國古代傳說或故事有一點的瞭解。潘小蓮乳酪點，實際上與潘小蓮三個字沒多大關係，但始終會讓人聯想到一些古代故事，從而會心一笑。
這是一個普通的乳酪店，兼賣一些包裝精美的鳳梨酥。店內的裝飾倒是與乳酪有些聯繫，頗有異域風情之外，一大面的油畫墻加上一排貼滿過往遊客的留念照讓人饒有興趣的研究一番。看到來到店裡的過往遊客們無一不開懷大笑，相信自己也很難不被感染到這份快樂！
The full fridge of yogurt cups behind the shop is
impressive, and actually I found there’s not too much choice of yogurt there. I
order the most popular- mango flavor! Fresh mango is cut into little blocks on
the top of yogurt, you will be given a little wooden spoon to have your yogurt
whatever in shop or take away. It’s yummy, with so sweet and juicy mango and
pudding-like yogurt. Yogurt is not too sweet thus makes you feel just light and
fresh; the texture is similar to pudding. To add one more comment that the
price seems a little over compared to its nice but not impressively excellent
taste.
Then what about pineapple cakes? Firstly I really
appreciate the trying-bag which means the package contains all the 4 flavors of
pineapple cakes they have, one flavor one piece, and in a good price. The 2
pineapple flavor is raspberry and original (pineapple). Both of them have a
little dry taste, but neither of them is over sweet. Not bad to try.
店面的後部被兩大排冰凍柜佔據，裝的則是慢慢的乳酪杯很有氣勢；但其實店內供應的乳酪口味並不算多，其中最為好賣的當屬芒果味，亦是我當日嘗試的一款口味。新鮮芒果切粒置於乳酪之上，用上店家提供的木質小勺，可堂食也可外賣。乳酪杯很好味，水果之下的乳酪質地近似布丁，不會過甜口味清新，上層的鮮果則是又甜又多汁；但考慮到其售價，似乎對比其隨好味但不至於絕頂美味的評價，是有些偏貴了。
可作為手信的鳳梨酥又如何？店家甚為貼心的為喜愛嘗鮮的顧客準備了嘗鮮裝，一袋四粒鳳梨酥，涵蓋店內出售的全部四種口味，且售價相比乳酪要合理的多！兩種鳳梨酥口味其實頗為相近，口感均略有粗糙，但好在都不會過甜，吃得也不令人感到膩口，嘗一嘗也不為過。
