As Genki Sushi's superior version, Sen-Ryo is famous of its fresh supply and middle-level price. Thursday night in Central, 8pm, it's the most busy time as everyone is enjoying dining-out instead of heading home. I and my girl friend are gathering there for a self-cheering dinner.
千兩作為元氣的高級版本,亮點應該算是其較為新鮮的食材。週四放工后的中環異常繁忙,食肆也是做生意的黃金時間段,千兩中環店(非IFC)也是大排長龍,好在流動性也較快,友人未到已等到位子,而且是我喜歡的吧台座,能看著一碟碟精緻壽司從我眼前輪流移過實在誘人。
Marinated ginger and Soju is my pre-dinner while waiting. Sweet and sour Japanese marinated ginger is my favorite side dish. I feel I can take it as main dish even... Regarding to the Japanese Soju, a little disappointed for the too plain taste but a little un-naturally strong alcohol taste.
千兩的薑片是我的最愛,透明水潤的薑片透出粉紅色,日式酸甜的醬汁被薑片吸得飽飽的,吃起來潤潤的又開胃。試了一款燒酒,似乎燒酒不是我的那杯茶,總覺得淡而無味,好似喝了一口兌了半杯清水的酒精,感覺始終怪怪的。
壽司類選擇不多,但卻樣樣精緻,樣樣好味,實在新鮮,魚生也飽滿肥美。對於“花心”的食客來說,若是選擇能再多些更好。生牛肉刺身讓我另眼相看,油潤的肥膘包住柔軟無比的牛肉組織,含在嘴裡好似多了條舌頭一般,綿軟好味。
完美一餐少不了甜品的點綴,沒想到千兩的芝士蛋糕走的美式風,口感、口味更足紐約芝士蛋糕的那份厚重與甜膩,讓人吃的滿足。日式風味的抹茶雪糕糯米糍,雪糕抹茶味濃也自然,雪雪白的糯米糍皮煙韌,微微帶甜,與抹茶味相當夾,值得一試。
