Early December, seems quite alcoholic for me, even not dine-out or hang-out with friends, blogger event invitation has something to do with wines! The 3rd day of 'Holiday' month, went to California Wine Tasting & Charity Event in Conrad Hong Kong.
After 8pm, Admiralty falls asleep, while there's warm and excited air floating in the air. Conrad Hong Kong provides a super fantastic Hong Kong night view, with colorful lighting of Central and Admiralty. It's too easy to get illusion under such a beautiful environment plus dozens of wines!
Event was in little hall with some steps and also good view; around 10-15 local wine traders presented there. I'm not professional to the wines, while I can tell what my personal favorites. To girls, white wines is always better, some white wines with fruity taste such as lychee, peach, and even banana, was impressive. Red wine, actually performed better than white wines for me, most of them has 'safe' taste. Not too strong, but not too sweet either.
To food bloggers, wines are always not that so important than foods. Conrad's snacks keeps the quality what a high-standard hotel should have. Just right potion, delicate presentation, fresh ingredients. For a 'mice' like me, those cheeses are never too good!
