Hanging around in Macau, searching for local delicious, you do think those shops with long queue and crowds standing for just a glance can serve you good quality of foods? I won’t make an extremely comment, while, I do doubt the general quality. By talking to Macau friends and some Hong Kong blogger friends, we all agree that, sometimes, those not famous local restaurants can offer a more authentic Macau flavor if you don’t mind a try. 保健, strictly, is not on the non-famous list, otherwise how can I know this name :P

A simple milk dessert in plain or added with extra flavor such as ginger/almond/red beans is its famous items.

去澳門除了去賭場，掃自助餐之外，當地美食也是一大亮點，但太多的遊客已經將地道美食變得不那麼“地道”，供需失衡的情況下質素難免會有些層次，完全理解，想吃好吃的？便要蒙著眼睛不怕撞牆，在僻靜的小巷子里亂晃悠，還好也有追看其他博客，總算是對個別幾個名字有些印象，保健，便是其中一個，簡簡單單的糖水鋪，出名的要屬雙皮奶之類了，薑汁撞奶、紅豆雙皮奶、杏仁糊種種。

Sitting in the old-style decoration of restaurant, the shop is not spoiled by the crowd of tourism, so that they can focus on the quality of foods. My choice is ALMOND MILK PUDDING （杏仁鮮奶糊）which has the interesting texture between mashed desserts (e.g. almond sweet soup/black sesame sweet soup) and milk pudding, or you can imagine the milk just starts to be a little bit solid. A balanced taste of almond and milk with tender texture and it is not too cold.

The RED BEAN MILK DESSERT （紅豆雙皮奶）is also famous item there. The red bean is cooked to be very soft within sweet soup and the texture of milk dessert would be more condensed and solid. The pork rib with bread （豬扒包）and spicy fish sandwich （辣魚三文治）is not as my expectation; the bun is hard but not crispy enough and the pork inside is not juicy and in big size :P regarding to the spicy fish sandwich, not too spicy and mixed with a little curry taste. I will only recommend to try their dessert.
